PRODUCTION BLUNT ROLLING SPECIALIST

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Hourly Pay Rate Rage: $16.50 – $17.50

Job Mission:

The Blunt Rolling Specialist is primarily responsible for all activities necessary to manufacturing, quality control, Kiefing and packaging for both Internal & External for all products by the manufacturing production department and/or products manufactured for co-pack customers. The employee in this role must possess the ability to multitask, communicate effectively with others, and be able to produce a high volume of work under a dynamic and fast paced environment. Employees must be detail oriented and able to assure all of the products rolled to the specifications of each project. 

Essential Functions:

  • Set up the workstation and break down at the end of the project.
  • Assure the raw material is the right quantity and size before the project is started.
  • Roll Blunts using SOP and assure the quality specifications are met for each unit being  produced.
  • Assists in all activities necessary to manufacture,  revise, and assure the integrity of the product has been met once the unit is ready to be checked using our quality control methods.
  • Maintain a good and consistent manufacturing rate to assure the Daily goals are met.
  • Maintain clear communication with lead when issues arrive.
  • Have a good understanding of what is expected of each project.
  • Helps manage the rate of production.
  • Assists with labeling, stickering and other special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or the equivalent in work experience
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of two years experience working in a consumer packaged goods environment
  • Minimum one year experience operating printers and software
  • Skills
    • Effective and professional communication and ability to collaborate in a team environment
    • Familiarity with Cannabis pre-rolls and the various types
    • Familiarity rolling or making pre-rolls to allow a smooth transition to blunt.
    • Attention to detail in performing Quality Assurance procedures for each job at various stages in the workflow
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality standards
    • Must be a fast worker and be able to work using hands all day.
    • Ability to adapt to new process and production changes.
  • Physical Demands:
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle and feel
  • The employee is regularly required to walk, sit, talk and hear
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or reach
  • The employee must have the ability to occasionally safely lift and/or move a minimum of 30 lbs.
